Culinary Associate

A Culinary Associate membership is available to an active chef, cook, culinary skill trade worker and institutional food handlers without Certificate of Qualification in the Trade of Cooking with a minimum of 5 years in the food service industry.

• Membership is with the Northern Lights Culinary Association only. Annual fee is $75.00

National Membership Chef / Cook

A National Membership is available to an active chef or cook with a red seal certificate or C.C.C or a minimum of 8 years in the industry without red seal certificate

Membership is with both the Northern Lights Culinary Association and the Canadian Culinary Federation.

Open to any person who has a Certificate of Qualification in the Trade of Cooking from a province, from a member country of WACS and who is 23 years of age or over.

• CCFCC New Member Initiation Fee $30.00 + GST 5%= $31.50

• CCFCC Membership $100.00 + GST 5%=$105.00

• NLCA Membership $35.00 no GST= $35.00

• I am not currently a member: $171.50 . I am a current CCFCC Chef member: $140.00 per year renewal

Military Membership

Dual Membership:  joint membership NLCA & CCFCC

Open to all members of the Canadian Armed Forces whose main course of duty is that of a mess cook, warrant officer or commissioned officer holding a minimum certification of TQ5.

• CCFCC New Member Initiation Fee $30.00 + GST 5%= $31.50

• CCFCC Military Membership $50.00 (50% of current rate) + GST 5%=$52.50

• I am not a current member: $119.00 . I am a current CCFCC Military Chef Member: $87.50 renewal

• NLCA Membership ONLY $75.00 no GST

Junior Culinary Associate Membership

Apprentice, Commis, Kitchen assistant, Student UP to the age of 23 years old.

Open to any person under the age of 23years of age actively engaged in the preparation of food in a commercial establishment or is enrolled in a recognized course of culinary studies at a college, school or institute. Is actively involved in work /study in the trade of cooking at the time of the application.

• $30.00 Annually, No initiation fee, GST 5% included - NLCA & CCFCC The Canadian Culinary Federation Junior Member

Hospitality Associate Membership

Hospitality services provider / Food producers, purveyors and growers

This is open to companies and/or individuals in the foodservice industry or related areas.

• Membership with Northern Lights Culinary Association only $150.00

• A one time initiation fee of $200.00 applies to new members and to lapsed members.

• Dual Membership: joint membership NLCA & CCFCC

• The Canadian Culinary Federation  $350.00
